About Us

We are a small group of dedicated volunteers who raise money, solicit material donations, shop for items below retail, centralize and sort items, and deliver donations to the Children’s Hospitals at UNC, Duke, and the UNC pediatric oncology center. We provide toys, games, personal care, items, snacks, and more to help hospitalized children play more and feel more at home while receiving treatment. We pride ourselves on maximizing our donation dollars. We strive to purchase items for 50 to 90% off retail allowing for more “bang for your donation buck”. Our volunteers also solicit local businesses to donate/sell at cost needed items as well. We are also steadfast that none of our volunteers, corporate officers, or board of directors will ever be paid, allowing for as much as possible to be given to the children. We are currently organized as a North Carolina limited liability corporation LLC, for charitable purposes. The required paperwork for nonprofit 501(C)3 status is in process.
